Exchanges and study abroad

Current Monash South Africa students

Monash offers all students the opportunity to study part of their degree at another Monash campus in Australia or Malaysia or at one of around 115 partner universities in 26 countries.

To qualify, students must first complete one full year of study at Monash South Africa and achieve an average of 60%. Students studying overseas receive credit towards their Monash degree and pay Monash South Africa tuition fees. Most students receive travel grants of at least ZAR15,000 from the University.

Prospective international students

At this stage Monash South Africa only accepts study abroad or exchange students from other Monash campuses who want to spend one or two semesters at Monash South Africa. It does not yet accept exchange or study abroad students from other partner universities; however Monash Australia does accept these students.
