Is the Chief Executive Officer of MUSASA
Presides at all official gatherings of MUSASA or delegates such duty to the Vice President or any member of the executive committee in the absence of the Vice President.
Together with the Treasurer and the Executive Secretary acts as the signatory to all transactions of MUSASA in accordance with MUSASA finance policy.
Approve of publicity operations and information dissemination as brought forward by Media Liaison Officer.
Chair the disciplinary committee.

Develops and coordinates policies of MUSASA

Executive Secretary

Is the chief administration officer of MUSASA
Is responsible for the day to day running of MUSASA
Is the chief custodian of the documents assets of MUSASA
Coordinates official correspondence with other student representative bodies equal to MUSASA from other institutions of higher learning or universities
Is responsible for notifying MUSASA members of all of the association’s meetings and meetings which require MUSASA presence
Is responsible for the documentation and distribution of all MUSASA meeting’s agenda and taking of minutes during meetings and reading of previous meetings minutes
Prepares annual reports on the overall work of MUSASA

Treasurer

The treasurer shall be:
The chief accountant of MUSASA
Principally responsible for all financial transactions, records and accounts of MUSASA
Administer the finances of MUSASA in accordance to the financial procedures of MUSASA and ensure that funds are used appropriately within the annual budget frame
Ensure that funds are distributed and administered properly to MUSASA affiliates earmarked to receive funds
Head of MUSASA fundraising structures
Together with the President and the executive secretary act as the signatory to financial transactions of MUSASA

Student Advocate

Shall together with the Vice President  be in charge of drafting and coordinating proposed constitutional changes
Is the ombudsman of the student body and in charge of constitutional affairs and related documents
Advises on the legality of issues, ideas and motions tabled for voting
Shall ensure appropriate and constant liaison amongst staff and students at faculty level and department level.
Shall ensure constant liaison with the residence advisors at the residence office or any other authority deemed to be dealing with on and off campus accommodation.
This is a very important office as the officer needs to interact with students and staff in an affective and responsible way.

Parties…Parties…Parties! Need I say more? Together with the Arts and Culture Officer is the director of the events advisory committee.
Is responsible for organising and coordinating all major parties for MUSASA, including all entertainment and functions during the orientation week.
Is responsible for organising barbeques for MUSASA members.
Liaises with Hot Spot and Chill Out management whenever necessary to facilitate organising social events for MUSASA at those premises.

Media Liaison

Is the Chief Publicity Officer of MUSASA
Is responsible for initiating all communication measures for MUSASA.
Is responsible for MUSASA’s print, electronic and any other form of media that MUSASA utilizes to communicate with the students, University and the community.
Is responsible for initiating and coordinating the activities of  the Monash students’ magazine, Monash Radio and Monash TV.

Arts and culture officer

Is responsible for organising and coordinating all arts and cultural activities for MUSASA.
Liaises with arts and culture societies when necessary on culture and arts matters
Is the head of all non representative societies.
Makes recommendations to MUSASA for the recognition of new arts and culture societies.

Sports officer

Sport is an important way to interact with other institutions
Organises and coordinates all sporting events for MUSASA.
Liaises with all sports clubs and the University sports office.
Represents MUSASA in all sports matters in the University.

International officer

Is responsible for advocating for all international students in all matters that may negatively impact their academic experience with Monash South Africa.
Is responsible for the internationalization of campus life and community by providing continued support and resources.
Is responsible for liaising with the student advocate in sorting student related issues.ie visa and accommodations.

Community Outreach Officer

Initiates and coordinates all MUSASA community interaction programs.
Represents MUSASA in all community interaction programs.
