Event Details

The Advancement Department will be hosting a "Potjiekos" competition on Friday 14 September 2007. The event will take place from 12:00 onwards, and all staff, their families and students are invited. People can partake as part of a group, team or department or independently – we expect at least one potjie from every Department! Selected senior management members will act as judges; teams will be judged on predetermined criteria which will include the main dish, side-dish, presentation, and originality.

Monash will rent the cast iron pots and braais, and we will use the balcony outside the Bistro as the preparation area. The Sports fields beneath the Bistro will be set up with tables, chairs and umbrellas, one table for every team entered. The Bistro will also run a cash bar for the day.

The aim of this event is to get to know each other better, but more importantly, to have fun! Each team should complete an entry form before 7 September. Please email Cristelle Snyman, Advancement Coordinator on cristelle.snyman@adm.monash.edu with entry forms.
