PSSA Conference, 20-22 January 2010
This is the official site for the annual conference of the Philosophical Society of Southern Africa.
DATE AND VENUE
The conference will be hosted by the Department of Philosophy at Monash South Africa in Johannesburg. The venue is the campus of Monash South Africa and the date Wednesday 20 – Friday 22 January 2010. INFORMATION ON PAPERS TO BE DELIVERED AT THE CONFERENCE
Approximately 60 papers will be offered at the conference in all areas of philosophy. The draft program of the conference, indicating the vast amount of topics, will be made available soon on this website.
At this stage all papers that have been proposed were accepted for the conference. If participants want special correspondence in this regard they must contact the conference organiser.

DETAILS ABOUT REGISTRATION, PAYMENT AND ACCOMMODATION
There are two ways of registering for the conference. In advance (before the conference commences) the payment is R500. Payment at the conference is R600. Postgraduate students and day visitors will pay special rates and they must contact the conference organiser in advance regarding payment.

Please note that all accommodation arrangements are to be made by delegates themselves. (It is recommended that all international guests confirm their accommodation well in advance in order to assist the organiser with appropriate arrangements.) Transport to and from the airport in Johannesburg should also be arranged by the delegates themselves.
