Semester 1 2012 Fees Principal Dates

Before 13 Feb 2012

First payment due of 20-50% of Semester 1 fees before coming for registration.

1 Feb  2012

Semester 1 1st statement run with fees due via student e-mails (Returning Students)
 and there after every Tuesday.

27 Feb 2012

Semester 1 commence

28 Feb 2012

Final date to pay remaining 50-80% of Semester 1
 (Take note:  All future International students’ minimum of 80% fees is payable 6 – 8 weeks prior to applying for their study permits since payment is required for a Confirmation of Enrolment (COE).

30 March 2012

Semester 1 census date
Last day to discontinue semester one units without incurring fees relevant for semester one.

9 April 2012

Semester 1 encumbrance run
Encumbrance will prevent:

  • Access to enrolment records, examinations results, academic transcripts
  • Access to Monash South Africa's computer system including the student portal and student shared drive
  • Graduation

30 April 2012

Semester 1 invalidation run
Invalidation means:

  • All units enrolled for the year will be discontinued/invalidated on the students’ portal
  • Access to Monash South Africa's computer system including the students’ portal and students’ shared drive will be revoked.
  • Home Affairs will be notified that the student is no longer enrolled
