Credit for previous studies

Monash South Africa may grant credit for subjects (units) passed, with satisfactory grades, at other recognised tertiary institutions if

• the subject is considered to be 80% equivalent in content and standard to those offered by Monash South Africa , and
• it is relevant to the planned course of study.

To apply for credit (advanced standing) for previous study, please complete the Form for Advanced Standing (PDF, 144Kb). All sections of the forms must be completed and the declaration signed and dated.

Students must include certified copies of all official transcripts or results from previous studies, as well as copies of the subject syllabuses with their application.

The application for advanced standing must be lodged and the credit approved in writing before enrolment.
