Programmes and degrees
Monash South Africa offers undergraduate degrees in the fields of Arts, Business and Economics and Information Technology, that give students the choice and flexibility to design an individual programme to meet their academic, personal and professional aspirations. These degrees are equivalent to those offered at Monash University campuses in Australia and Malaysia.
By offering a variety of specialist major study areas, supplementary minor studies, plus the unique opportunities and experiences Monash can offer, such as inter-campus exchanges and study abroad support, Monash prepares its graduates to be professionally effective, internationally engaged and ethically responsible.
Honours degree programmes, which give graduates enhanced employment opportunities or can be used to prepare for a higher degree by research or an academic career, are offered by the schools of Art and Information Technology.
To ensure more students have the opportunity to study at Monash, a Foundation Programme is offered for school leavers who do not meet the requirements for direct entry into the undergraduate degree programmes. The Foundation Programme prepares students for the pace and depth of undergraduate study, with individually streamed curricula preparing students for their particular destination degree.
