Where do the academic staff at Monash South Africa come from and how are they selected?

Academic staff at Monash South Africa are recruited locally and internationally. They are selected according to stringent criteria which ensure consistent high-quality teaching across Monash campuses and centres.

Does Monash South Africa offer bursaries for financially disadvantaged students?

A limited number of bursaries are available to economically disadvantaged students who complete their Senior Certificate in the current year and who meet university entrance requirements and course selection criteria. The distribution of bursaries is based on academic merit and the individual financial circumstances of applicants.

Does Monash South Africa offer part-time courses?

At present Monash South Africa offers full-time undergraduate and some postgraduate degree programmes. Students can enrol for a less than full-time load. Evening lectures for degree programmes are not currently available.

Does Monash South Africa offer short courses?

Can I do an MBA through Monash South Africa?

How many students are there at Monash South Africa?

There are currently about 2 200 students enrolled at Monash South Africa. We pride ourselves on our ability to offer state-of-the-art facilities and small tutorial classes, with easy access to lecturers and students, which is of great benefit to the students studying with us.

If I want to study in Australia can I arrange this through Monash South Africa ?

All administration for courses run at our campuses in Australia is controlled in Australia. This means that while we can assist you in getting in touch with the right people, all arrangements will have to be made through Monash University in Australia. What does the name "Monash" mean?

If I register at Monash South Africa can I study in Australia?

If you enrol as a student at Monash South Africa you will spend all or most of your time studying in South Africa. However, through our Study Abroad Programme, once you have successfully completed the first two semesters of your degree, you may have the opportunity to study part of your degree at one of the other Monash campuses (in Australia or Malaysia) or at any of the universities with which we have links around the world.
