Monash South Africa is an attractive, secure, purpose-built campus located in Ruimsig, 25 kilometres northwest of the Johannesburg city centre. Undergoing rapid expansion since being established in 2001, the campus offers high-tech lecture theatres and tutorial rooms, a new library and learning commons with access to the fully digitised Monash periodical and serials collection, computer labs with cutting-edge PCs, a student association office, a bookshop and a bistro. Sports facilities on campus include two basketball/netball courts and a large multi-purpose playing field.
