Condensed format of the short course:

The objective of this short course is to enable learners to use project management and leadership skills in order to understand and execute all elements of event management as well as understand the inter-relatedness of the elements, events, context and external factors which might influence the event. The ability to implement a contingency plan as part of event risk management will also form part of this workshop. The importance of post evaluation of events in order to improve future event management will also be discussed. Learners declared competent will deliver a professional, feasible and creative event.
