Wellness and Health through sport and fitness

Risks associated with sedentary lifestyle

Research has shown that people often don’t exercise or play sport because they are not informed about the risks of living a sedentary lifestyle.  They are also not aware of the benefits of participating in sport or physical activities.

Structure of the short course

The duration of each program is two days. We make use of our qualified and experienced fitness professionals.  Our health and fitness awareness program is designed to reveal the mysteries about exercise and health, exercise and daily activities, exercise and aging and many more.

Session 4: How to exercise properly and effectively

  1. Exercise principles (F.I.T.T)
  2. Training methods
  3. Frequency
  4. Intensity
  5. Time
  6. Type

Session 5: How to adhere to your training plan

  1. Training with a partner
  2. Training with a personal trainer
  3. Training with a spouse
  4. Training while on holiday
  5. Variety is cue for boredom

Session 6: how to choose exercise type (different things work for different people)

  1. Gym training: advantages and disadvantages
