Academic requirements

We select students based on academic merit. You must be at least 17 years old when you enrol (applications may be made while you are 16).

To be eligible for an undergraduate degree at Monash South Africa, you must have completed one of the following:

South African students

International students

  • GCE A levels
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma
  • a relevant post-secondary qualification
  • another similar international qualification (subject to university approval).

* South African students must have achieved a minimum of 4 in Mathematics in order to major in Accounting in the Bachelor of Business Science and continue studying towards registration as a Chartered Accountant with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). Mathematical Literacy will not be accepted.
